Super Nerdy Super Bowl Trailers!

After getting home from work (and going for a two mile run with my husband), I proceeded to sit in front of my computer for 5 hours working on various projects for the upcoming season of Dungeon-Master.

That being the case, I find myself with very little motivation to write anything substantial…

Instead, how about I show you two of the awesomest Super Bowl Commercials from Sunday.

Or, as I now call it…nerdbowl commercials, because when you have Captian Kirk and Iron Man together, there really isn’t anything better for our kind.

Fashion Questions for A Nerd Filled Weekend WonderCon

Yay! One more day. I am. So beyond excited. I have been looking forward to this for way too long.

I got most of my packing finished before work, though I’m still debating on which shirt I should wear tomorrow.

I thought my hialrious twitter inspired Star Wars shirt that I got at Comic Con last year might be a good choice…

…but I suspect that Mark and I are both gonna don “Doctor Who” shirts. They match, but not really. We don’t wanna look like nerds.

Oh, wait…I actually do. Lol.

Which Star Trek Villain is Benedict Cumberbatch Playing?

So, according to IMDb, Benedict Cumberbatch (Of Sherlock Fame) is signed on to appear in the new Star Trek Film, though his character’s name has yet to be announced.

According to TrekMovie.com, he is in fact playing the villain. Is anyone else as excited as I am about this?

A lot of people have been thinking Cumberbatch is playing a new timeline version of Khan…but that doesn’t seem right. First of all, the show’s producer’s did say that Khan was NOT the villain. (I think it would be more interesting in the new timeline to make Khan a good guy down the line).

What do you think? Keep in mind, Khan or any Villain in fact, can be completely different now, as we are in a new timeline. I really don’t care who the villain is. I think Cumberbatch will be great!

Oh, and also, why is Star Trek failing to list character names for any of the new cast? It’s a bit annoying, really.

But with 14 months to go until the release, I just hope we start to get some more casting announcements. I can’t deal with 14 months of guessing games.

The Avengers Have Assembled

Do you think I am just a little bit excited about The Avengers movie coming out May 4th? What a great release date, by the way.

(May the Fourth be with you….no?)

So what gave away my intense level of excitement for The Avengers?

Was it my wonderfully Avenger-Full Valentine’s Day?

Was it the new trailer?

Was it the new television series I started watching?

Well, if none of that clued you in, maybe this will.

We already had Iron Man, Thor, and Captain America in our collection but it felt too incomplete. So yesterday when my vacation check arrived, I decided to surprise Mark with The Incredible Hulk, and Iron Man 2.

He was so excited he picked me up and twirled me around the kitchen.

And so now we are ready for the epic amazing-ness of The Avengers.

Is it May yet?

The Tale Of the Three Brothers…

This is totally amazing to me. I just never saw this. Now when in read the books, and not when I saw the movie.

Did JK plan to make Snape a relation to the second brother?

I would love to hear your thoughts on this. We already know that Harry and Tom Riddle were related to the Peverell’s. So…was Snape as well.

If not, this is still beautifull parallelism for the story, but I would love to hear your thoughts?
