Wooo. Was it hot out today? I’m on day 3 of my 5k training plan, day 4 of jogging and this was my hottest morning run. And to be honest, it probably wasn’t even that hot. Not for SoCal.
I’m going to have to start waking up earlier if I wanna beat this heat. Everyone keeps telling me that the energy will come naturally once I start working out. But so far, I’m still having a hard time getting out of bed.
The jog was okay. I did 2.4 miles in 25 minutes and didn’t really start to get side cramps until the last 5 minutes…but when I did they did not want to go away.
I have to shower and have some breakfast. I’m thinking cereal on this hot morning.
I also have a few freelance writing gigs I need to knock out before work.
When do you think is the best time to exercise? When does it start getting easier?
